Resin infusion is a great method for producing high-quality, void-free composites on big or complex moulds. The process is well-suited to the production of carbon fibre and other advanced material composites, and it is widely used by professional manufacturers.
You shouldn’t use general-purpose spray adhesives because they are not specifically designed for the vacuum infusion process. Using general purposes adhesives can result in overspray and uneven application. In addition to this, general-purpose spray can interfere with the resin curing process and damage the structural integrity of the finished product.
One of the benefits of our adhesive is that it does not interfere with the curing process of vinyl, esters, polyesters or resins and essentially becomes part of the polymer makeup.
Our infusion adhesive works at high performance to make sure that reinforcing fibres are held in the right place during the process.
- Non-dimpling, soft glue line
- Low soak in
- Allows resin to reach maximum tensile shear strength
Our exceptional adhesive is used to hold reinforcing fibres in place during a resin infusion process or resin transfer moulding. During this process, the surface finish or structural integrity will not be affected. Our Tuskbond Infusion 707 is perfect for infusion/vacuum forming composites. Please test this product before use to make sure it is appropriate for you.
